How does the process work?
We review your diploma and healthcare experience and support you with the application and practical steps towards recognition as a certified caregiver (Verzorgende IG). After that, you can start with Ariane Zorg in Amsterdam in homecare, with guidance from the team and supervision from the district nurse.

What will you earn?
You will receive very good terms of employment in accordance with the CAO VVT. The salary is between €20.19 and €27.76 per hour (FWG 40), depending on experience and grading. These amounts include holiday pay and year-end bonus. On top of that, you accrue vacation hours and a pension.
Bicycle allowance
Costs and claiming expenses
We charge a one-off contribution of €150 for the application and guidance. After working for Ariane Zorg for six months, you can fully claim this amount from us.
IND-recognised
Ariane Zorg is a recognised home care organisation and registered as a recognised sponsor with the IND. We guide international healthcare workers in working in the Netherlands, within the applicable laws and regulations.

Starting is often possible quickly, depending on your documents and the steps in the process. We agree on hours and contract form together based on your availability and the possibilities in the district.

Do I need to be BIG-registered to start?
No. A BIG registration is not required for this process. We look at your foreign nursing diploma and care experience and guide you through the steps to be able to start as a Carer IG in home care. Work is always carried out within the applicable competences and under professional management.
Which documents do I need to provide?
We ask for a copy of your nursing diploma, an overview of subjects or hours taken (if available), a valid proof of identity and a CV. In addition, a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required. If you do not have this yet, we will help you with the application.
How long does the process take before I can start?
This varies per situation and depends on your documents and experience. In many cases, starting can be relatively quick. The recognition takes between 2 and 8 weeks.
During an intake interview, we will discuss what is feasible for you and which steps are necessary to start.
Will I receive irregular hours allowance (ORT)?
Yes. ORT according to the CAO VVT for evening, night and weekend hours. This is on top of your hourly wage.
Where will I work and how do I travel to clients?
You work in home care in Amsterdam, with regular clients and clear routes. This can be by car or by (electric) bicycle. If you use your own bicycle, you will receive an allowance of €150 per year. If we arrange a bicycle, the allowance is €50 per year.
